Lori Hamilton was appointed division vice president and director, Technology, Corning Gorilla Glass, in July 2022. In this role, she manages the overall Gorilla Glass Technology organization to include development, reliability, commercial technology, and product engineering. She is responsible for the integration across research, development, engineering, and manufacturing. Hamilton joined Corning in 1993 as a process engineer in the Harrodsburg, Kentucky, plant. She went on to hold a number of product and technology leadership positions in Corning Display Technologies and Corning Glass Technologies. She spent has spent 18 of her 31 years with Corning based in Japan, and frequently travels to Asia. She is currently located in Corning, NY.

Susan Kent
AR VR Global Laboratory Director

Susan Kent is global laboratory director within 3M’s Display Materials & System Division, responsible for augmented and virtual reality technology development and product commercialization. Kent has led her AR/VR team over the past 10 years through early-stage, product concept scouting, and value proposition creation to award-winning product commercialization, including a 2022 Display Component of the Year awarded at SID’s Display Week. She has more than 25 years’ experience in industries ranging from displays to renewable energy. This includes engineering and management roles encompassing research and development, product commercialization, manufacturing technology, factory optimization, and new business development. Kent has a BS in chemical engineering and a PhD in polymer science from the University of Illinois.

Erin McDowell
Chief Revenue Officer
FlexEnable

Erin McDowell is the chief revenue officer at FlexEnable, where she is responsible for growing business in FlexEnable’s core markets, including augmented and virtual reality optics. Prior to joining FlexEnable, she led 3M’s AR/VR business, where she launched products including the polarization technologies enabling most pancake optics in the market. She is an inventor/co-inventor of over 50 patents, primarily in the field of ARVR optics. McDowell has a BS in electrical engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.

Michelle Gebbie is a senior marketing operations leader with over 25 years’ experience in developing and optimizing integrated marketing programs, consistently leveraging her brand-building and digital expertise to help drive growth and profitability. More than 17 of those years were spent working at 3M across various divisions and corporate teams, including marketing for the Post-it Brand and Scotch Brands. Currently she is focused on marketing strategy and operations to promote 3M Privacy Filters and a range of 3M optical solutions within the consumer electronics and automotive businesses.
