Frank Christiaens is the chairman and CEO of CLEARink Displays, based in Vancouver, Canada, and has more than 20 years of hands-on experience operating and managing multinational corporations throughout Asia, South America and Europe. In addition to his role in CLEARink Displays, Mr. Christiaens currently is a managing partner at CrossPacific Capital Partners (XPCP). He also serves as a director at Elix Wireless Charging Systems in Vancouver, China Digital Video in Beijing, and Virgo Ventures in Hong Kong. He founded his first startup in Belgium in 1991. Mr. Christiaens holds master’s degrees in electrical/electronics engineering and business administration. He studied at the University of Leuven Belgium, and at the Imperial College in London, and speaks several languages. |

Helge Seetzen is a successful multi-media technology entrepreneur with deep experience in the university tech transfer space. He currently serves as the CEO and general partner of TandemLaunch – a startup foundry that works with driven entrepreneurs to turn research from the world’s best universities into exceptional consumer technology companies. Under his leadership, TandemLaunch has created over 20 technology companies, accounting for hundreds of jobs, and has commercialized technologies from over 50 international universities. Prior to this work, Mr. Seetzen co-founded Sunnybrook Technologies and later BrightSide Technologies to commercialize high dynamic range (HDR) display technology and champion the development of the local dimming LED TV concept, receiving multiple accolades,including the Best Buzz Award at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show and a "Top 100 Technologies in 2006" rank by Popular Science Magazine. He also received Business in Vancouver's “40 under Forty” award for business accomplishment, the NSERC Innovation Challenge Award for university technology transfer, and a Special Recognition Award from the Society for Information Display for the pioneering of LED TV technology. He holds over 80 patents with an additional 50 pending U.S. applications. |

Paul Travers is the founder of Vuzix and has served as its president, CEO and a board member since 1997. Prior to the formation of Vuzix, Mr. Travers founded both e-Tek Labs, Inc. and Forte Technologies, Inc. With more than 25 years of experience in the consumer electronics field, and 15 years of experience in the virtual reality and virtual display fields, he is a nationally recognized industry expert. He holds an associate’s degree in engineering science from Canton, ATC and a bachelor of science degree in electrical and computer engineering from Clarkson University. |

Ross Young is the founder and CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC). Prior to DSCC, he was IMS Research Sr. Vice President of Displays, LEDs, Lighting and PV after the firm acquired his market research business, Young Market Research (YMR). Before founding YMR, Mr. Young was vice president of new market creation at Samsung LCD. His experience includes innovations at DisplaySearch, the leading source of market intelligence, events and consulting to the flat panel display supply chain, where he launched most of the categories for the company, including FPD equipment, FPD materials, TFT LCD shipments and technology, notebook PCs, desktop monitors and TVs. While at DisplaySearch, Mr. Young appeared on multiple television programs as a display industry expert, including The Today Show; and he has been quoted in most major business and video publications including Business Week, Forbes, Fortune, The New York Times, USA Today and the Wall Street Journal. He received NPD’s prestigious John Byington Award for outstanding creativity and innovation, and a Presidential Citation Award from the Society for Information Display in 2012 "for his sustained service in promoting the Market Focus Conference Series from concept to successful completion". |

Sri Peruvemba is the CEO of Marketer International, a marketing services firm, and serves on the board of the Society for Information Display.. He was previously CMO for E Ink Holdings. With over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, Mr. Peruvemba has been an influential advocate in the advancement of electronic display technology. He is an acknowledged expert on electronic displays, haptics, touch screens, and related technologies; and consults, writes, and presents on those subjects globally. Mr. Peruvemba has also held senior level positions at Sharp Corp, Cambrios, TFS, Inc., Planar Systems and Suntronic Technology, and has both a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and a master’s degree in business administration, as well as a post-graduate diploma in management. Based in Silicon Valley, he is presently an advisor to high tech firms in North America, Canada and Europe. |
