An Evening Reception Aboard the USS Midway  Aircraft Carrier

Display Week 2014's special event will be an evening reception aboard the USS Midway, "the largest floating city at sea." Relive nearly 50 years of history aboard the longest-serving Navy aircraft of the 20th century for a private reception. The Naval vessel is berthed at the Navy Pier conveniently located on the bay in downtown San Diego within walking distance from most downtown hotels and the San Diego Convention Center . The USS Midway is the most-visited floating ship in the world, and has a museum consisting of 60 exhibits located throughout the historic aircraft carrier as well as 29 restored naval aircraft. The hosted reception will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 pm on Wednesday evening, June 4, 2014.

Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased in advance or at Display Week registration.
